S.R.V.B.S.J.B.Maharanee College Association, Peddapuram was started in the year 1967 to commemorate the philanthropy of the great Maharanee of Peddapuram samsthanam in response to a long felt need to start a college in this area. Sri.S.B.P.B.K.Satyanarayana Rao garu the then chairman of zilla parishad, East Godavari district took initiative in this direction and it is due to his pioneering zeal, that S.R.V.B.S.J.B.M.R.College came into existence in 1967.  S.R.V.B.S.J.B. Maharanee College Association is running two colleges namely S.R.V.B.S.J.B.Maharanee College & S.R.V.B.S.J.B.Maharanee College Of Physical Education
