The Founder
The S.R.V.B.S.J.B. Maharanee College was established in the year 1967 by Sri S.B.P.B.K.Satyanarayana Rao garu, the Zamindar of Kapileswarapuram.
Way to Bright Future
Initially the college was started with PUC, B.A. and B.Com sections. In the following year, the B.Sc course with MPC & CBZ introduced.

ABOUT MRC COLLEGE PDP
The College was started in August 1967 with three sections of P.U.C. and one each of B.A. and B.Com. The very next year in July 1968, the college became more or less full-fledged with the addition of B.Sc. providing for both the popular combinations of M.P.C. & C.B.Z. P.U.C. was replaced by Two YEAR INTERMEDIATE COURSES in Science, Arts and commerce in the year 1969. Now the college is affliated to Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry for Degree Courses and Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh for Intermediate Courses.
